If you do not agree with your IELTS result, you may request that your test be re-marked. You must make this request within six weeks of your test date. You can choose to have one or more parts of your test-remarked.
You can request an Enquiry on Results (EoR) by submitting the original Test Result Form (TRF) and an IELTS Enquiry on Results form to the Test Centre. There is a $165 administrative fee for an EoR. To pay the fee, complete the Credit Card Authorization Form and send it to the Test Centre along with your request. When all the forms have been received, the re-marking process takes between 2 - 21 days from the date of submission. If you have not received a response after 28 days, please contact the test centre.
If the result of the re-mark is higher than your original result, you will receive a new TRF in the mail and you will be contacted by email for a full refund of your $165 administrative fee.
If the result of the re-mark is not higher than your original results, you will receive an EOR letter by mail stating your final result status. You should make all enquiries regarding the progress of your re-mark to the test centre where you sat your test.
There is no appeal after this re-mark, the decision is final.
