If you do not agree with your IELTS result, you may request that your test be re-marked. You must make this request within six weeks of your test date. You can choose to have one or more parts of your test-remarked. The fee is the same regardless.
You can request an Enquiry on Results (EoR) by submitting the original Test Result Form (TRF) and IELTS Enquiry on Results form to the Test Centre. There is a $165 administrative fee for an EoR. To pay the fee, complete the Credit Card Authorization Form and send it to the Test Centre along with your request. When all the forms are received, the re-marking process takes between 6 - 8 weeks from the date of submission.
If the result of the re-mark is higher than your original result, you will receive a new TRF in the mail along with a full refund of your $165 administrative fee.
If the result of the re-mark is not higher than your original results, you will receive your original TRF with a message stating the results remain the same. You will receive an EOR letter stating your final result status. You should make all enquiries regarding the progress of your re-mark to your original test centre.
There is no appeal after this re-mark, the decision is final.
